CompTIA Network+ certification is the leading vendor-neutral certification for networking professionals.
This certification is a useful preparation for Microsoft Certification and CISCO Certification. Network+, togethjer with other Comptia certificates, can be used to satisfy some of the elective requirements for Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).

- Prerequisites: None but recommend ComTIA A+ and nine months networking experience.

Effective January 1, 2011, all new CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ certifications will be valid for three years from the date the candidate is certified. To continue to use these professional designations you will need to re-certify. This is all part of the CompTIA Continuing Education Program.
